I also have a “bitter-sweet” announcement to make. Mr. Dan Nolan, our 8th grade teacher has accepted a high school teaching job at Serra. I am very happy for him, since this was a goal of his and he will be amazing, but of course, I’m sad to see him leave. He assures me he will always be part of our St. Robert family. Please join me in wishing Dan all the best on this new journey. I am so happy to tell you that Mr. Michael Herrera, who I announced on May 1st is joining our Junior High, has enthusiastically agreed to replace Dan as the new 8th grade teacher and the Junior High advanced math instructor. We are blessed!
That leaves 7th grade……I am thrilled to tell you that Mrs. Melissa McNichol has accepted the postion of 7th grade and Junior High English teacher. Mrs. McNichol comes to us with a varied background including 12 years in business, a BA in English , and although she already has an emergency credential, she is finishing her English-single subject credential with us this year. She has been substitute teaching the past few years at SR, or other area schools. She is thrilled to be teaching in the Junior High arena. Please welcome her to our school family!
More good news! The Saint Robert Advisory School Board would like to announce the addition of two new members! Mr. Stephan Marshall and Mrs. Lisa Bibat have applied to and accepted positions on the board. WELCOME! We are looking forward to another great year! Thanks again to our outgoing members, Mr. John Grealish and Mr. Michael Herrera. We are very grateful and have been blessed by your service!
God Bless You and Your Families,
